How to Install altos software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

altos software package provides Altus Metrum firmware and utilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install altos

altos is installed in your system.

Make ensure the altos package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep altos *

You will get with altos package name, version, architecture and description in a table
